Academic Publishing

Two journals we build
and run every month.

Scholarly publishing is not a website — it is a workflow with a reputation attached. For both of these journals we did the development and we still do the operations: Open Journal Systems builds, Crossref DOIs, index coverage, issue production and the editorial desk behind it.

Case #05 · Academic Publishing

Inverge Journals — an HEC-recognised journal we build and run.

We develop and manage invergejournals.com, the platform behind the Inverge Journal of Social Sciences (IJSS) — a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal recognised by Pakistan's Higher Education Commission in Category "Y". We own the whole stack, from the Open Journal Systems build to the editorial desk.

  • Open Journal Systems build

A hardened OJS 3.3 install with the full double-blind workflow configured — sections, roles, review forms and decision routing.

  • Crossref DOI pipeline

Prefix 10.63544 wired into OJS, so every issue and article is minted a persistent DOI and deposited at publication.

  • Indexed in 27 services

OAI-PMH, citation metadata and clean landing pages so Crossref, Google Scholar, BASE, OpenAlex, Dimensions.ai and 22 more can harvest it.

  • 18 issues, bi-monthly

Vol. 1 (2022) through Vol. 5 (2026) produced without a missed cycle — cover art, galleys, metadata and release.

  • Run, not just hosted

Submission triage, plagiarism screening, reviewer coordination, copyediting and layout are ours, month after month.

Case #06 · Academic Publishing

Insightful Journals — a business research journal scaled 4×.

We develop and manage insightfuljournals.com, home of the Journal of Business Insight and Innovation (JBII) — a peer-reviewed, open-access journal also recognised by HEC in Category "Y". We built it as a platform in its own right, then rebuilt its production line so it could publish four times as often.

  • A platform of its own

Separate OJS installation, domain, ISSNs, board and identity — not a shared tenancy, so its reputation and metadata stand alone.

  • Scaled from 2 issues to 8

Templates, scheduling and hand-offs rebuilt so Vol. 5 shipped eight issues where Vol. 1–4 managed two apiece.

  • Citable and preserved

Crossref DOIs on every article, plus CLOCKSS/LOCKSS preservation configured and publicly disclosed.

  • PDF & XML production

Copyediting, formatting and machine-readable galley preparation, so indexing databases get real metadata.

  • Managed end to end

Editorial desk, author support, APC and waiver handling, metadata upkeep and platform maintenance are all ours.

Case #07 · Social Network

Yeshua App — a social network built around faith.

A US-based client came to us with a clear idea: give believers one place to post, follow their church, message each other and read scripture. We designed the product and built it end to end — the iOS app, the API behind it and the web console the client runs it from.

  • A feed split by relationship

Your own posts, your friends, and the people and churches you follow are separate lenses on the home feed, so it is always clear whose voice you are reading.

  • Church accounts for pastors

A pastor registers their church and it becomes an account with its own following — what it publishes reaches that congregation directly.

  • The Bible, inside the app

Full text with book, chapter and verse navigation, a topical Bible Promises index, and verse bookmarking into personal notes.

  • Messaging that carries scripture

Direct chat where a shared verse arrives as a citation with its reference intact, not a pasted block of text.

  • A console the client operates

Church registration approvals, reported posts and account suspensions, all handled from a browser without an engineer in the loop.
